Formed in 2017, Mikx & Khaki are a House DJ/producer duo from the Blackpool area consisting of brothers Mike and Ash McGough playing at clubs across the North West of England and most recently Ibiza. They were formerly a trio including Micky Hargreaves.
With the production background of Mike and Ash and the DJ'ing experience and knowledge of Micky, the three decided to come together to form the group in mid-2017, and have quickly gathered momentum ever since.
Mikx & Khaki rose up the ranks on the Fylde Coast; having mixes, tracks and interviews played on the BBC Introducing show in Lancashire on several occasions to give them a big kick-start to their music career together. They have also become regular performers at Blackpool's main venue and nightclub Home & HQ, supporting world renowned DJs such as Darius Syrossian, Mason Maynard and Latmun. On top of this, they closed out the Home & HQ arena in their first festival appearance at Blackpool Festival summer 2018 on a lineup which consisted of Roger Sanchez, Danny Howard, Faithless and more.
Their Tech House remixes of MODJO's 'Lady', Tomcraft's 'Loneliness' and Paul Van Dyk's'For An Angel' have been supported by the likes of Kryder and Sammy Porter, and have been downloaded by Jamie Jones, GW Harrison, Versus, Felix Leiter and DJs From Mars, whilst enjoying success in the Hypeddit Top 100 Charts. The producers' tracks have been aired on international radio stations; including Rinse FM, BBC Radio and Data Transmission.
